Bakassi Militants Kill 2 Soldiers In Cross River Two soldiers were killed in an early Saturday morning attack on Army troops by suspected militants in Efut Esighi Waterfront in Bakassi Local Government Area of Cross River State. According to a statement by Colonel Sabi K Usman, acting Director of Army Public Relations, the attack was led by wanted criminal kingpin, Benjamin Simplee (AKA G1), leader of the Bakassi Strike Force. "No Referendum For Biafra"-President Buhari Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari today foreclosed any chance for a referendum as a path to bring healing and closure to the vexing issue of Biafra. He made the statement during a media event in New York City at the end of his visit to the United States as the leader of Nigeria's delegation to the 71th United Nations' General Assembly. The president stated that the choice left for Biafran activists is to form a political party that would advance their interest within the Nigerian democratic space. Justin Bieber 'attacked' in German nightclub Justin Bieber has been caught on camera getting attacked by a man in a German nightclub. The singer is in Munich where he has been performing as part of his Purpose World Tour and headed to HEART nightclub during some time off. But things didn’t go to plan for the musician when a man lunged at him. Onlookers told TMZ the man had been trying to get Justin’s attention. Luckily the star’s business partner John Shahid was on hand to pull Justin away, stopping him from getting hit. This isn’t the first time Justin has got into a scuffle in a nightclub. He left a BRIT Awards after-party early when a fight broke out between revellers and his entourage. He was also launched at by a stranger in Toronto in 2013.

Breaking: Militants Attack Troops In Bakasi Sani Kukasheka Usman, Abuja: Today, at the early hours of the morning, suspected militants led by the declared wanted criminal kingpin, Benjamin Simplee (AKA G1) leader of the Bakassi Strike Force, in several speed boats attacked troops deployed at Efut Esighi waterfront in Bakassi LGA of Cross River State. During the attack, a soldier was killed in action, while 2 soldiers were missing in action. They also burnt a buffalo pickup vehicle. The troops have also killed 2 of the attackers while the rest escaped with gun shot wounds. However, the reinforcement sent have found the missing soldiers. In addition, the troops location have been reinforced with more gunboats and air component. The clearance and pursuit operation is on going.
