Phone theft: Seun Egbegbe granted N1 million bail, smuggled out of court Movie Producer Seun Egbegbe was today arraigned at the Magistrate court, Ikeja, Lagos, on a one count charge of theft. I Remain PDP Candidate – Jimoh Ibrahim Talks Tough Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim has vowed to continue with his campaign despite an Appeal Court ruling that set aside the Justice Abang judgement that ordered INEC to publish his name as the Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate for the November 26 election in Ondo State, The three-man panel of the appeal court led by Justice Ibrahim Saulawa, on Wednesday unanimously held that Justice Abang acted without jurisdiction when he made orders against those that were not parties ‎before him. The appeal court also nullified the primary said to have been conducted by the Biyi Poroye-led state executive of the Ali Modu Sheriff faction of the party which produced Ibrahim as the governorship candidate of the party in the state. Just In: Military Aircraft Crashes In Makurdi Agusta AW 101, a medium-lift helicopter specially designed for military operations has reportedly crashed in Makurdi, Benue State capital. This is coming barely two months after the Presidency handed over the aircraft in the Presidential fleet to the Nigerian Air Force. According to an online source (not Greennews.ng), the crash was due to poor training of crew members who manned its operation. Ondo gov election: Supreme court dismisses Jimoh Ibrahim's appeal, affirms Eyitayo Jegede as PDP candidate A five-man panel of justices led by the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, this morning dismissed all appeals filed by billionaire Businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim, challenging the decision of the Court of Appeal Abuja to reinstate Eyitayo Jegede as the governorship candidate of PDP in the Ondo state governorship election slated for  Saturday November 26th . Justice Ibrahim Salauwa of the Court of Appeal Abuja yesterday reinstated Jegede as the party's candidate and overruled the  October 14th  judgment of Justice Okon Abang that made Jimoh Ibrahim become PDP's governorship candidate in the state.
