Photos: Bride and three others die in helicopter crash on the way to her wedding Rosemere do Nascimento Silva, a 32-year-old bride, who planned to surprise her husband-to-be, Udirley Damasceno, by arriving at her wedding venue in a helicopter, sadly never made it to the altar. As her unsuspecting fiancé and other guests awaited the arrival of the bride, she and a few others boarded the helicopter to convey them to the wedding venue in the outskirts of Sao Paulo in Brazil. When the helicopter did not arrive after a while as scheduled, one of the organizers who knew about this surprise made calls which led to the discovery that the helicopter had crashed just a mile from the venue, killing the bride, her brother, the pilot and also their photographer who was pregnant. The groom was said to have gone into shock after he was informed about the death of his bride by the pastor.

Fela Kuti's daughter, Motunrayo dares her ex-boyfriend turned blackmailer to do his worst Motunrayo, one of the daughters of late music legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, took to her Instagram page to slam and expose her ex-boyfriend turned alleged blackmailer, who's threatening to release hurtful (nude) videos and pictures of her while she was unconscious. In her words: "U see this nigga right by my side is a TRAITOR A LIAR AND A THIEF... HE IS MY EX.. So I broke up with him then he stared sending me very hurtful videos he used to take of me while he would have drugged me to pass out.. He said I will regret the day I met him and that he will leak those pictures and videos.. Please friends family and foes,if you know him tell him I said he should go ahead and post them.. And trust me I ain't"

Couple found dead inside a car filled with toxic substances A young couple was found dead, their lips blue, inside a car in Chelmsford, Essex after neighbours said they heard a loud bang which sounded like a can exploding.  23-year-old Nikki Willis, who works for CeX and Tom Putt, who is believed to be her boyfriend, were seen by neighbours just moments earlier chatting in a car parked outside Miss Willis’ house, while the engine was running. Police said they discovered a ‘noxious substance’ in the car, but their death is still being treated as ‘unexplained’. According to a police spokesperson,  'Their deaths are being treated as unexplained at this time. Two brothers from Niger Republic arrested for killing a guard over alleged N2.6m deal in Lagos Two brothers from Niger Republic, Samuna Hussein, 26 and Haruna, 25 have been arrested by the police for allegedly killing and burying a guard, Kola Segun, 39, over an alleged N2.6m deal The arrest was made following investigations carried out after late Segun's wife filed a missing person's report.  Late Kola Segun worked as a security guard for Multi-Links telecom firm at Oniru but was sacked when he suffered an asthmatic attack while on duty. Raski Yusuf and Saidi Amosun who also worked as security guards in the firm were also arrested by the police. According to The Nation, One of the suspect, Samuna, called late Segun about a job offer in Lekki Phase 1. Segun informed his wife before he left home to meet with them. However, when her husband didn't return the next day, Mrs Segun went to his former office to look for him but learnt that he was never recalled

Corrupt elements obfuscating FG's good work - Lai Mohammed The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has said corrupt elements are doing everything possible to obfuscate the good work of the present administration, as a response to the government’s determined fight against corruption.  The Minister, who stated these while addressing the staff of the Nigerian Embassy in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, December 4th, said as the government fights corruption, corruption is also fighting back, using even unsuspecting sources, adding: "This is the biggest challenge facing the administration at the moment."
