Russia is ready to restore relations with U.S'- Putin says as he 'reaches out' to Donald Trump Now that Donald Trump has won the U.S. presidential election, Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated him saying he hopes there'll be a fresh start in U.S.-Russia relations. In a telegram, the Russian leader said he was confident he and Trump could start "a constructive dialogue based on the principles of equality, mutual respect, and genuine consideration for each other's positions." He also hoped that Trump would help resolve "the current crisis" in U.S.-Russian relations. Trump during his election campaign has been a vocal admirer of Putin, saying the world will be a better place if Russia and America got along, even saying he could visit the Russian leader during his first 100 days in office. China jails 49 people over fatal Tianijin chemical warehouse blast that killed over 165 people (Photos) 49 people including 25 managers and 24 employees of Ruihai Logistics in China have been sentenced to jail in connection with an explosion at a chemical storage facility in China, that killed over 165 people, most of them firefighters and police officers in August 2015. The Court on Wednesday ruled that Yu Xuewei, chairman of Ruihai International Logistics, paid bribes to obtain permission to illegally store more than 49,000 tonnes of sodium cyanide and other highly toxic chemicals at the company’s warehouse in the city’s port area between 2013 and 2015. The court found the management guilty of carelessness and said the company ignored safety rules and violated municipal planning, as the massive heart wrenching explosions left scenes of devastation in the northern port city of Tianjin- a disaster the people of Tianjin haven't still gotten over, more than a year after it h

Footballers Association rebukes Man U coach, Jose Mourinho over his treatment of players The Professional Footballers Association (PFA) of Britain has rebuked Manchester United coach, Jose Mourinho over his treatment of players, Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw. Early this week, Jose Mourinho called out both players saying they refused to put their heart and body on the line for Manchester United, as they declined playing in the match against Swansea because they didn't feel 100% fit. Snoop Dogg leads the celebrations as California votes to legalise marijuana Donald Trump may be heading to the White House but Californians have something to be happy about after the state voted in approval of Proposition 64, a move that legalises recreational marijuana in the state. Rapper, Snoop Dog who is no stranger to weed shared a television image of the results along with the caption "I'll smoke to that". California is one of eight states that have voted to legalise the use of marijuana for medical or recreational uses. California's vote is one of the most important moves in health and politics, it is America's most populous state with a population of 39million and has an economy bigger than that of France. Marijuana still remains prohibited under federal law.

Blind woman known for her 'powerful' predictions warned that Obama will be the 'last US president A blind woman, Baba Vanga, predicted the rise of Islamic State, (ISIS) had also forecasted that Barack Obama would be the 'last US president'. Vanga, who died in 1996 aged 85 was known as the 'Nostradamus from the Balkans' as she predicted correctly that the 44th US president would be African-American. It's unclear what the Bulgarian-born Prophet who had an alleged prediction success rate of 85%, meant when she said Obama would also be the last president. Photos: Two Nigerian men arrested in New York for possession of forged credit cards Two Nigerian-Americans were arrested in New York for possessing forged credit cards and a credit card encoder. 20-year-old Olisa Uzoegwu and Chidubem Adi, 19, were pulled over on Saturday morning, Nov. 5th, at about 3 a.m, after driving through a red light on Long Island, New York. The police officers searched the car and discovered a bag of marijuana,a credit card encoder and forged credit cards. Uzoegwu was subsequently charged with four counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, criminal possession of a forgery device, false impersonation, and driving without a license, while Adi was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, unauthorized possession of marijuana, and false impersonation.
