Fun And Buzz As FCMB Opens Flexx Hub In Zaria On Friday, November 25, 2016, students of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) were super- delighted as First City Monument Bank (FCMB) stormed the prestigious university for the grand opening of the Flexxhub. This was just immediately after the school’s matriculation and it was awesome. As soon as the event started, the students who were already waiting for the kick-start, trooped out en-masse to the venue. Judging from the smile on their faces, one could tell how excited they were. Here are excerpts from the events: The event featured talent hunt, treasure hunt, dance competitions, and so much more. Winners were also rewarded wholesomely! Little boy rescued after getting stuck in a washing machine while playing (Photos) A two-year-old boy was rescued from a washing machine after he got stuck in it at his home in Shizuishan, northern China. Fire-fighters had to dismantle the entire machine to get the toddler out. More pictures after the cut.

Ex footballer El Hadji Diouf launches more attacks on Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard Ex Liverpool player and former African player of the year El Hadji Diouf has once again blasted Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, after Gerrard announced his decision to retire from football  on Thursday  after spending the last season at the American Major League Soccer. Diouf and Gerrard were teammates at Liverpool for two seasons after then coach Gerard Houllier brought him to Anfield for £10m in June 2002, but never clicked for once, with Diouf accusing Gerrard previously of being racist. Speaking on French TV channel SFR Sport, the 35-year-old said:  'People told me at Liverpool, there was some guys you could not touch, but I touched them. That is why it was complicated for me.' Photos: Son of late Emir of Kano, Prince Sani Bayero and his wife are expecting their first child together Prince Sani Bayero, son of the late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Dr. Abdullahi Ado Bayero, and his wife are expecting their first child together. The couple wedded in a grand ceremony last year. Prince Sani already has a child from his first wife. Late Ado Bayero was the Emir of Kano from 1963 toll his death on June 6, 2014. He was succeded by his brother's grandson, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, former CBN Governor.

Photo: FUNAAB Vice Chancellor, Pro Chancellor, Bursar arraigned for fraud The EFCC today arraigned Pro Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, the Vice chancellor, Prof. Olusola Oyewole and Bursar, Moses Ilesanmi before an Ogun state High Court sitting in Abeokuta on an 18-count charge of stealing and fraudulent conversion of the University property. The trio pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to them. Ogunlewe was represented by his son, M.O. Ogunlewe. The court is yet to decide on whether they should be granted bail.
