Photos Of Patience Jonathan’s N10bn Hotel In Bayelsa Where Suite Costs N367, 000 Per Night It was reported that former First Lady, Patience Jonathan owns properties (hotels included) in Abuja, Bayelsa and Rivers state. Photos have now emerged of one of such properties; a hotel in Bayelsa named Aridolf. It is reportedly worth about N10bn. It is reported that Aridolf boasts of about 200 rooms including suites. The price of the rooms ranges from N15, 700 to N367, 500. According to the hotel’s room rates, a standard room costs N15, 700; deluxe room costs N31, 500; a junior suite is N56, 700 and the executive room is N75, 600. The Presidential suite goes for N315, 000 while the price of the Royal suite is N367, 500. All the costs are inclusive of value-added tax charges. ‘Buhari Didn’t Spend N20 Million For His Ear Infection Treatment’ – Presidency Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity has slammed reports that the President spent £6m on the treatment of an ear infection in the United Kingdom. Shehu, in a Facebook post, said that President Buhari spent less than £50,000 (N20.5m) on the ear treatment in June as against the £6m alleged by Prof. Farooq Kperogi. Shehu said the Presidency had approved over £50,000 for the President’s treatment but Buhari rejected it. [PHOTOS] Ambode Unveils Ketu-Alapere Lay-by To Reduce Traffic Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Saturday unveiled the newly built Ketu-Alapere Lay-by and 700m concretized Slip Road to decongest traffic in the area. The Alapere-Ketu Lay-By is a 2-lane access road from Iyana Oworo inwards Alapere-Ketu with a provision of 2 metre wide walkway and drainage on one side of the lay-by. The two-lane access road from Iyana Oworo inwards Alapere-Ketu will relieve traffic flow towards Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and Ojodu-Berger axis. According to Mr. Ambode: “The commissioning of Ketu-Alapere Lay-By is a strong indication of our commitment to make life better for residents and investors.”

PHOTO] Suspect Arrested For Theft Steals From Policewoman During Interrogation In Lagos Deji Ayoola, a 28-year-old man, who was arrested by the police in Lagos State for theft, has allegedly stolen money from the policewoman interrogating him. Ayoola was being interrogated at the Rapid Response Squad office in Alausa, Ikeja, on Saturday, when he allegedly stole N1,200, which fell from the policewoman’s pocket, Punch reported. The suspect had earlier been arrested by the men of the RRS in the Ojodu Berger area for allegedly stealing from a commuter. Ayoola had earlier stolen a wallet, containing N14,500 from the commuter, identified as Ayodele Akerele, before he was arrested. It was gathered that after the police took Ayoola to the RRS office for questioning, a sum of N1,200 fell from the policewoman, who had removed her mobile phone from the pocket. When the money dropped on the floor, Ayoola allegedly picked it, but was exposed some minutes later by another suspect. A

Police In Rivers Rescue Remaining 7 Oil Workers From Kidnappers Less than 24 hours after three victims escaped, the remaining seven oil workers of the 14 kidnapped on September 2 along Omoku/Elele axis of Rivers State have been rescued by the State Police Command. Confirming the rescue of the oil workers, spokesman for the police in the state, Nnamdi Omoni, in a statement said the police smashed the hoodlums in the early hours of Sunday and rescued the abducted. According to him, no ransom was paid. The victims are currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed hospital. By this rescue all 14 kidnapped oil workers are out of captivity. The Police Command in the state, however, is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the kidnap.
