Rangers’ Egwim Undergoes Surgery, Out For Four Months; Gets Governor’s N1m Injured Rangers striker, Ifeanyi Egwim, on Tuesday went through a successful surgery at the Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu, officials have confirmed to Complete Sports. Egwim broke his tibia fibula in Sunday’s final match day 4-0 win against El-Kanemi Warriors at the Cathedral. The severity of the fracture ensured he was taken in an ambulance straight to the hospital. Same Sunday evening, Egwim, a former (defunct) Dolphins of Port Harcourt forward, had the injury scanned where it was confirmed he broke his bones. Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, ordered the injured player be flown to Germany for proper medication.
