#MannequinChallenge: LASEMA has ruined it for everybody

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has just killed the mannequin challenge for everyone.
The #MannequinChallenge has rocked our November and gave the young duo Rae Sremmurd their first number one hit.

The #MannequinChallenge has been a global smash with world leaders and kids jumping on it. Pulse was the first company to do it in Nigeria and it opened the flood gates.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. The #MannequinChallenge, ladies and gentlemen is dead and we can thank the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) for that.

LASEMA which has done a fantastic job this year by rescuing people involved in accidents decided to do its own #MannequinChallenge. It wasn’t a good idea.

The video is too rigid and the element of fun is not there. Yes, LASEMA is in the job-saving lives which is serious business, maybe that’s why their challenge was stiff, but they could have done a whole lot better.

Well, the #MannequinChallenge had a good run but all good things must come to an end. Fortunately, the worldwide challenge didn’t totally end on a sad note.

The good folks behind ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ in Nigeria recently released its own #MannequinChallenge video and it is epic. It is more than video. It is serious production involving a large number of people. They pulled it off brilliantly.

Goodbye #MannequinChallenge
